It's #727day! ❤️🧡💚💙
We are immensely grateful for the incredible St. Petersburg (and Tampa Bay) community your support of cats and dogs in need, and the work we do to save them. Donate today to help us save more!
Friends of Strays is St. Pete's oldest no-kill shelter. We take in animals within Pinellas County and within the state of Florida, giving thousands the refuge, care, and love they deserve while they wait for new homes. Some cats and dogs come to us needing a little bit more TLC than others. In the past few weeks we've treated...
🐾 2 cats who needed leg amputations due to severe injury
🐾 2 dogs who needed sedated grooms due to severe fur matting t
🐾 1 dog diagnosed with severe glaucoma and a Grade 5 out of 6 heart murmur;
🐾 1 cat who tested positive for FeLV, FIV, and feline herpes
On top of these elevated cases, our medical and animal care team treats for ringworm, upper respiratory infections, fleas, and more on a daily basis.
This work is only made possible by the support we receive from the community. Friends of Strays is a nonprofit, and we rely completely on generous donations to save lives.
If you are able, please consider making a donation to Friends of Strays. It's because of people like you that these animals' lives are saved and changed for the better: www.friendsofstrays.org/donate.
