Friends of Strays has been impersonated by a fraudulent page attempting to "sell" purebred puppies. Reminder, we do NOT take payment online for adoptions. All adoptions are completed in person at our shelter.
If you see this page on Facebook or want to help, please report it safely:
• Do not interact beyond reporting!
• Open Facebook and search for the page by name (Friends of Strays Rehome).
• Do NOT like, comment, or message the page.
• Tap the three dots (…) next to the page name.
• Select “Report Page” → “Something about this page” → "Fake Page" and "Scam, fraud, or false information."
• Follow the prompts to submit the report.
Be safe on the internet!
• Always check our official page for verification or contact us directly if you have questions.
• Never send money to someone you don't know online.
• Our Facebook Page URL includes our name. Note that the fake profile does not – often a giveaway that something is amiss!
