He's had a rough life up to this point. Not that you would know it - he loves everyone he meets, and his purr motor is always running!
He had to have one hind limb amputated, and in early December he underwent major surgery to try and save his other hind limb. Dr. Hay at Veterinary Surgical Specialists put little Kicks’ ankle back together again.
This surgery was a complicated one, and it came at a hefty price for Friends of Strays, but we are committed to doing everything we can to save Kicks’ leg and give him the best chance for a happy life! It is still a long road ahead for little Kicks, 4-6 weeks of weekly splint changes and rest, but he is just as playful and purring just as hard as ever!
