We are happy to that you are seeking TNVR services! Here at Friends of Strays, we are no longer performing traditional TNVR surgeries for the public.
We do have another program for feral/community cats called Return to Field (RTF) that is similar to TNVR; however, with this program you are surrendering ownership of the cat to Friends of Strays. We will perform TNVR services, address any treatable medical concerns and return the cat to where it was found. The difference with the RTF program vs TNVR is that you are surrendering the cat to Friends of Strays - you no longer have ownership or control of the cat, i.e. cannot request additional medical services, do not receive medical records for the cat. You are welcome to pick the cat up after surgery, but we cannot guarantee a pick up time/date as we can with TNVR. The benefit of RTF to you is that everything we do is free of cost! And if you are unable to pick up the cat, we will return it to where it was found.
If you wish to bring the cat in through our RTF program, an appointment is not required. You can bring the cat in to Friends of Strays on Sunday-Thursday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. We do not accept cats for RTF on Fridays or Saturdays.
