About our Thrift Store

Hours:  10-5, Tuesday - Saturday

Our Thrift Store, located across from the Shoppes At Parkside (the former location of Parkside Mall) where US 19 meets Park Boulevard/Gandy at the overpass in Pinellas Park, is stocked with items donated by those devoted to our cause, and all tagged at "Stray Prices".
Ample parking and handicap access are provided.  The Store is "Pet Friendly" but we request you please keep your pet in your arms or otherwise contained, with the exception of Seeing-Eye dogs.  Thank you.

Please note that newspaper coupons are accepted at the Thrift Store from our local advertising through January 29, 2008 and are valid for a $1.00 discount off a minimum $5.00 purchase;  these coupons cannot be combined with any other offer, but they are valid for all purchases.  This includes coupons from Senior Voice, BeachLife,Gulfport Gabber, Pinellas Park Beacon, as well as Largo Leader, and the Seminole Beacon, and Neighborhood News. Feel free to clip a coupon for every visit through 1/29/08.

One of our current in-house Thrift Store promotions is the observance of Senior Citizen shoppers who have loyally supported us for many years. So, if you too, are a Senior (55 and up), please plan to come in on a Tuesday for a 10% Senior's Discount on everything but furniture, jewelry and collectibles. This discount applies to all other items priced at $1.00 or more, and is available every Tuesday 10-5.  

Donations and Deliveries: Friends of Strays accepts donations of fine antiques and other estate pieces, which are appraised by a volunteer antique dealer and sold at the Thrift Store, along with everyday household items we all need.  All merchandise donations are accepted 10:30 - 3, Tuesday - Saturday outside the back of the Store (inside the white fence), except on rainy days. We will be happy to provide you with a receipt for your donation.

We do not accept large appliances, large exercise equipment, pianos/organs, cars/boats or items in need of repair. Please call the Store @727.527.9699 to arrange to have your furniture picked up by our truck.  Please be prepared to give your name, address, telephone number and a list of items so that we can schedule your request.  Please allow plenty of lead time.

A "large purchase" delivery service for items such as furniture purchased in our Store is also available.  There is a fee for delivery, determined by your location and other factors.
